Into Africa!

The next trip to Zambia is already coming up. We are flying to the warm south this month. Visitors and sponsors from FCTrelief are accompanying the main team. The six-member women's group is looking forward to this experience in beautiful Zambia. Heiner and Chris, with Erich and Gordon as support, have a lot planned – there is much to do! Gordon Merk reports.

The Volume of Work is increasing

FCTrelief's work is progressing well – there is much to be done. The volume of our work in Zambia is increasing, mainly due to the university scholarship students. The number of school children on the plot remains steady, while the number of university students has risen. This means more work in terms of organisation and finances. We are constantly amazed at how loyal sponsors continue to support our work and how new ones are joining us. This is very encouraging. And new sponsors are warmly welcome!

Judith, for example, is looking forward to experiencing FCTrelief again after two years. She is excited about further ‘encounters with the local people’ and ‘refreshing relationships with the wonderful people there.’ Judith wants to be part of the mission to give young people without prospects a chance in life. Above all through education. She supports young women in training in the nursing sector. She will be able to attend the graduation ceremony of Priscilla and Esnart, whom she has supported!

Monika will be travelling with us for the first time. Her godchild Svenja invited her and motivated her to come along. She has heard a lot about FCTrelief from Svenja. She has always found it exciting and now wants to experience it for herself, not least to see where Svenja's heart lies. Svenja has had a connection to FCTrelief since childhood, and reports and pictures have always touched her. She also wants to experience ‘the people and the country’ for herself and is looking forward to meeting Abigail, who is supported by her father.

Bettina is moved by ‘seeing hope in action.’ This is also her first trip to southern Africa. She has been to Egypt so far and is curious to see another side of Africa. Above all, she is looking forward to experiencing our charity organisation and to encouraging the people involved in the project. Ludmilla and Ursula feel the same way. It is sure to be an adventure for everyone.

We are grateful for all our sponsors and supporters!

A worthwhile Effort

The work of FCTrelief is a worthwhile effort. We promote ‘Future through Education.’ We provide opportunities and inspire hope towards a better future. Each donation makes a difference and has positive effects. We are changing the lives of young people with potential. They are, in turn, grateful for the chances they are given and the hope we inspire.

We are looking forward to seeing the people in Zambia again, to serve them and inspire hope for the future in the name of the sponsors and supporters! You are warmly welcome to support the work of FCTrelief. It is worth it. We would also love to invite you to our Celebration of Gratitude in Tagerwilen on 5th of December. We will share more about our charity and express our gratitude in the name of the pupils, students and staff. You will also have the opportunity to meet other sponsors and supporters.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!
